{"id":1193,"date":"2026-01-05T12:57:29","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T07:27:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsprimetripura.in\/?p=1193"},"modified":"2026-01-05T12:57:42","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T07:27:42","slug":"training-on-scientific-vegetable-farming-conducted-in-west-tripura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsprimetripura.in\/?p=1193","title":{"rendered":"Training on Scientific Vegetable Farming Conducted in West Tripura"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The<strong>Centre for Livelihood Alternatives and Promotion Foundation (CLAP Foundation),<\/strong>a national level organization working towardsagri-based livelihood promotion, conducted a training program on<strong>\u201cScientific Vegetables Farming\u201d<\/strong>on 03<sup>rd<\/sup> January 2026at the Jirania RD Block Conference Hall, Jirania Block, WestTripura.The program aimed at strengthening farmers\u2019 capacities through the adoption ofGood Agricultural Practices (GAP), promotion of sustainable farming methods, local-level value addition, and exploration of alternative market linkages for better price realisation.These initiatives are part of <strong>CLAP Foundation\u2019s<\/strong> continued efforts to enhance farm productivity and improve farmers\u2019 incomes.A total of 50 farmers from Jirania&amp; Mandai Block participated in the training. The participants primarily cultivate paddy, turmeric, pineapple, orange, banana, and seasonal vegetables.
